About
Don in Progress is the idea that none of us arrive finished. Progress is the result of seeking challenge, exposing our limits through training and leadership, and reflecting honestly on the experiences that shape who we become. This site exists to capture those moments honestly.
I am a graduate of the United States Military Academy and currently serve as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army. My journey has placed me in environments where preparation is imperfect, feedback is limited, and performance still matters. From leading Soldiers as a medical platoon leader, to competing in demanding events like the Army Best Medic Competition, I’ve learned that development rarely follows a straight line. Most of the important lessons show up when things are uncomfortable, unclear, or unfinished.
This isn’t a highlight reel.
This is a place for honest reflection, professional accountability, and thinking out loud without pretending to have final answers.
